Nail Polish Collection: Greens

Hi girls! Today I will be sharing my green shades of nail polish. Oddly enough, green is a color that I like, but don't wear too much. Huh. I guess they tend to look prettier on the bottle.

From L to R: China Glaze Refresh Mint, Essence Viva la Green, OPI Jade is the New Black, Love & Beauty Gold/Green

From L to R: Finger Paints Lucky in Love Lime, Jordana Rich Green, Essie Navigate Her
Not much, huh? I find that green is a tricky color to pair with my skin. My favorite are the blue leaning greens, like Essence Viva la Green and OPI Jade is the New Black.

Any green fans out there? Share your fave shades in the comments, maybe it'll inspire me to grow my green stash.

Nail Polish Collection: Blues

Hi girls! Here we are again with another update in my Nail Polish Collection series. Today is blues, and you'll notice that I have a lot of those. Blue is my absolute favorite color :)

So, first, the cremes

From L-R: Orly Gumdrop, a-england Galahad, OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui, Essie Lapis of Luxury, Colorama Missão Azul, Nails Inc Baker Street

And the shimmers/glittery ones:

From L-R: China Glaze Blue Year's Eve, Finger Paints Laugh my Art Off, Zoya Charla, Essence Blue Addicted, Wet n' Wild Grew up in Cobalt-imore and Essence Colour 3 (Midnight date/City that never sleeps).

It's hard to pick my favorites from this category, they all have something that make them special to me. But some I'd recommend to anyone are: Nails Inc Baker Street (painted my nails twice in a row with this color), a-england Galahad (perfect formula), Zoya Charla and China Glaze Blue Years Eve (it's a perfect glassfleck blue that doesn't stain).

Do you like blue nail polish? I invite you to share you favorites in the comments :)

Nail Polish Collection: Purples

Hi girls! So, continuing with my nail polish collection post today I'll share the purples. For this post I choose to divide them in two groups: cremes and shimmery.

From left to right: Essence Miss Lavender, Jordana Silky Purple, Jordana Lovebug, Essie Splash of Grenadine.

From left to right: Nicole by OPI Count on Me, Zoya Adina, Zoya Mimi, Orly Ingenue.

Of this bunch my favorites are Essie Splash of Grenadine (my first non-muggle shade, I had a mini first but loved it so much I needed a full size bottle. I'm half way through it), Jordana Silky Purple and Orly Ingenue (love the sparkliness).

Do you like purple? What are you favorite shades/finishes?

Nail Polish Collection: Warms

Hi guys! So today I wan to start a series of post to share my nail polish collection in its current state as from yesterday. My collection is an evolving project and I'm constantly adding and purging colors.

Today's post will be dedicated to the warm spectrum: reds, oranges and pinks. It'll be a short post because, as you'll see, I don't own many shades in this category. But the blue, purple and green posts will be a lot longer.

Although I tried, there are way too many colors in this picture to be able to make it accurate, so this is just an overview:

From left to right: Colorama Amarelo Sol, Zoya Arizona, OPI Flit a Bit (mini), Wet n' Wild Fantasy Makers orange jelly, Zoya Happi, OPI Flower to Flower (mini), China Glaze Strawberry Fields, OPI Guy Meet Gal-veston and Zoya Sooki.

While they're few all of these have hold a special place in my heart. My favorites here are Zoya Sooki (perfect one coater red), China Glaze Strawberry Fields (beautiful bright with gold flassflecks) and OPI Flower to Flower (my *favorite* pink, but it's been impossible for me to find a full size bottle).

Do you have a large collection of warm shades? Which are your favorites?

Thanks for reading!

Hits Moonbow

Hi guys! Long time no see, sorry. I know the blog is a little neglected but I have a plan to go back to a regular schedule ;)

So today I want to share with you one of the polishes that I got from an amazing friend that I met on MUA. I recently got Essence polishes in my city and, since this brand is not available in Brazil, we did a little swap.

Hits Moonbow is part of the Phenomena collection, which is a series of multichromatic glitters (I hope to share the rest with you in the future). Moonbow was the one that really drawn me to try first, as it flashes in so many colors in the bottle.

For this mani I layered 2 coats of Moonbow over Essence Galactic Black (a shimmery black, but the shimmer is lost under the glitter). At first Moonbow looks like a shimmery green, but as you turn your hand you'll see blue, purple and even orange/gold peeking out. It is truly a dream.

The glitter was also very dense, I got a great coverage in only two coats. It's also not very bumpy/gritty, one coat of Gelous plus my regular quick dry top coat (Sally Hansen Insta Dri) left if glass smooth.

I love how there are this random specks of color that shine different than the others. In the above picture, in the bottle you can see some small green glitters where it shines purple. Likewise you can see some tiny gold/purple sparks when the green is predominant.

To wrap things up, I love this polish! This is my first time wearing black nail polish and it was totally worth it. It's a good thing I don't drive, I would have cause an accident because I just can't stop staring at my nails. I'm really grateful that my friend send this collection to me, thank you! :)

And thanks to you for reading!
